| Considering the fact that majority of you picked the Sixers to finish under .500, why are we not pleasantly surprised the team is over .500 right now. Since when is Philly a given to beat Milwaukee, NJ and Knicks??? According to all of you who said this team would suck. That means the Sixers are better than the sucky teams and just not as good as the great teams. I dont care how well they would've played, I doubt very seriously their record would be any better than 3-2 anyway. They may have not gotten blown out but Orlando probably still would've beat them and even if they had survived Orlando, Boston was beating opps by and avg of 19, and what makes Philly any better than Cleveland whom Boston beat by 24? The way I see it, if a team can struggle as their starting 4 and 5 avg a combined 19 pts 8 rebs per game!! As our starting pg struggles but works on D and gives us 17,5 & 5, not to mention Speights, whom should be starting. I'm pretty optimistic about what its going to be like when they actually get it together. |

They are where they were supposed to be right now. They lost to the really good teams and beat the really bad ones. They definitely don't suck, as many have wrote, it just sucks to be mediocre. |

| I think the issue a lot of people on here have is that they either want to have a legitimate shot at a championship, or have a good shot to get the number one overall pick. I'm all for us winning as many games as possible, but some of the people on here would rather see them tank this year and get rid of players they don't like than to see them have a pretty good season like the last 2. |

| We have not won against the good teams yet. We are about average or a little under average. We need a bonifide scorer and center. |

Let's see where they are after their annual Westcoast trip in Dec-Jan. That's the stretch that normally makes or breaks this team.

Oh cut it out. Take your tongue out of your cheek and stop pulling these folks legs. No one who follows this team closely believes that rah rah rubbish you typed, I doubt you do either. Good one though, you even had me going for a minute. Our full strength squad had to scrape and claw to eek out a win against a depleted Nets roster who are mediocre even when healthy. This franchise is clearly in dire straights and the 12,000 phans dressed up as maroon chairs every night are a clear indicator. Nah, this is really sad. Thank goodness Sportscenter skipped our game this morning. I cringe when the rest of the country gets to see the "atmosphere" in the Wach. The mediocrity is just a killer. I still can't figure out if it was Billy's decision to keep Miller and Joe Smith or if the old man wouldn't let Billy dump them but either way we screwed up royally with what transpired after December 20, 2006. Shame on the whole front office for this mess. It's their fault the joint is empty so they better not even come with that moving the team nonsense. It's not the phans fault that this roster is boring and mediocre. |

| you do realize we had to go ot to beat the knicks, and we were down 7 to the nets with 7 minutes left- against less than half of a lousy team? |

| Are you serious? This team got all it could handle from a team dressing only nine players and missing three starters. On their home court!!! In fact, the only reason the Sixers won is because it looked like the depleted Nets got tired and the Sixers had a deeper bench. Maybe they win as many as they lose but in no way can the Sixers challenge the good teams. |

| You know I have seen some glimpses of good things on both ends, but it has not all come together. Maybe it will as we go along, but it has been bad to watch so far. They have not played will in any one whole game. I expected some bumps here and there. If what we are watching becomes our season, be prepared for the worst attendance and tv viewership of all time. This team is not putting out a good product. I will stick by them and see how it goes, but they are not close yet. |
