6 assists and 0 TOs tonight, to bring his A/T ratio above 5. I'm sure that'll come down a bit, but it's been obvious for a while that if you give him the responsibility of being a starting PG instead of a 6th man/instant offense guy, he'll get the hang of it. Just as long as you don't expect him to play like Steve Nash or CP3. Aaron Brooks, whose games has been compared to Lou's, is another good example of this. Too bad Stefanski was obsessed with having a "pure" PG like Miller run the point, something that also led him to stupidly take Holiday over Teague and Lawson. And that Comcrap was desperate to get revenues from 2 or 3 home playoff games. |

| ditto on Lou improving at point, but how about toward the end of the game Green running the point with Lou at the 2G, turned out to be productive. Lou is real good off screens and a better shooter catching the ball on the fly. |

| I'd rather not have Green in the lineup. But I agree that Lou looks pretty good (if a little streaky) coming off of screens. |

| Yeah, good point. Both Lou & Green had good games apparently (judging by their stats). Another 0-turnover game for Lou. |

| What the heck all the sudden Im a W.Green loyalist? lol I wouldnt prefer to have him in at the end of games either, but apparently the GREEN/LWill guard lineup was productive,at best pedestrian. |

| I'd still prefer to have a pure PG out there. I don't think Lou's play has been as good as his numbers would suggest, and he's been terrible on the defensive end. |

He isn't good on D, but that wasn't Miller's strong point either. Lou admittedly can't do everything that Miller could, but considering how he's playing, dealing Miller's expiring was a no-brainer. Even if all you got was a good role player like Outlaw and dumping Evans' contract. |

| Not his strong point, but in comparison to Lou I'd say he's a pretty good defender. |

You have some good points (no pun) there as usual Igloo. One thing that is relevant for this team is that last year we were putting 15 million into the PG position. This year it's down to 6-7 million. That allows us to put more resources into other positions. I'm shocked really that Lou has been this productive as a starting guard. I didn't think he'd be able to contend with other PGs. I guess what I failed to consider is that while he has to deal with tougher starting PGs, he also benefits from playing with better players (the other 76er starters). And yes, some point out that Miller could do a lot of things that Lou can't. However, Lou nailing a 3, running a one man fast break, or taking over a game with quickness was something Miller really couldn't do. As Miller's prime and career fades, Lou's has barely begun. |

| I like LouWill's shot selection and how he's just been under control. His fg% has been icing on the cake.Won't stay that high but if he's around 45/36/80 shooting wise and has about a 2.5/1 assist/to ratio the season will be a success for him. |

| Back in November-December '07, when his game was taking off, I thought he might be a future All-Star. Of court, that was before BK was replaced with Stefanski, and everyone was thinking that Miller would be gone by the deadline. Things fell off after that, but now he's starting to look like the player that I thought he could've been. |

| To some extent, Lou just wasn't playing well last year. But I think he was also pressing himself to be a big-time scorer, since that's what the Sixers expected of him as a 6th man. Now, he's letting the game come to him more. Still needs to work a lot on his D, no doubt. |

I have just really liked the way he can get to the hoop. Now I like the way that he is getting people open shots! If Thad, Ig, or Elton could hit a jumper on a regular basis, big if, then lou's assists will go up over 6, I counted last night 6-7 open shots that were bricks set-up by Lou. It is a big plus about his turnover ratio being so good. I think he was interviewed and he knows he needs to not turn the ball over. Give this kid a break, let him ease into playing, you might find something that ends up being really good. I think Jrue was picked to be an insurance policy, because I am not sure that management is really ever certain about what Lou could turn into. As stefanski says though, He has got big Upside! Hah |
