I think Professor should real in LW and Iggy, and forbid them from hoisting 3balls!

Notice how celtics milk each player for what they can do - we ought to get more 3's from JK, by way of LW and IGGY setting him up.

THAD has good range and form on 3ball.I would say he needs to keep shooting 3's.

Jason Smith - unproven yet, but maybe a candidate.

HOLIDAY has not missed a 2 or 3 ... he might be a surprise 3ball shooter.

misc thoughts:
as for giving up on BRAND - i say not yet - as we know, a common theme in basketball is "let the game come to you" and "take what they give you".

i say give him 1st half of season to get back in rythem, learn the PO, and find his spots for his SIGNATURE MOVES.

If we see steady progression, look for him to be a solid producer / leader. I like his character and work ethic.

i disagree with you on this one. outside of one desperate 3 i saw thad make this year, he looks like a worse distance shooter than last year. and he guns on top of it. his bricks largely contributed to that boston embarrassment. while ig is not the best 3 point shooter in the world, we have it least seen him get hot. and i've seen lou make some too--plus i think of the 3, he's the most capable of being a consistent shooter. the coaches need to have more confidence in holiday, he looks like a nice, confident, professional shooter. ivey makes some, but i just don't want him thinking he's allowed to take any shots lol. wg is garbage. smith can hit them, carney can, and obviously kapono. i'd put them in this order:

kapono
carney
smith
lou
holiday
ig
thad
wg
ivey
speights
sam
brand (last, because i just can't imagine him having the range on that form/legs to shoot an accurate 3)

Jrue hit his 3's in preseason as well, a couple of them were even the step back variety. Jordan cannot keep this kid on the bench much longer.

I don't get it...Iggy and Thad have the same career 3 point percentage, what makes Thad (shooting 10%) better off than Iggy (30%)?

IF Speights worked really hard on getting his game in order on D, boards, and shot selection, I could picture him developing Rasheed range, but definitely not now. He needs to focus on the fundamentals for the time being. BUT down the road...

this team is so UNPREDICTABLE!
50% from 3point land ...8-16 w Iggy hitting go ahead 3pointer!

gud 2 c JK increasing in 3ball attempts- they should be setting him up for that OFTEN!

on BRAND: if we double his 18 min stats he has a "double double" ... not bad.

SPEIGHTS deserves more than 18 min though!

and again - WG 20 min!? what! and HOLIDAY a DNP. Hard to understand.

Brand should put less effort into chewing his gum and more effort into not getting the ball stripped lol
