I don't think, even if he leaves, we ever stop hearing the "practice....we are talking about practice..." thing.

If Iverson leaves or is sent packing, the thing I will miss the most is winning. Even though the Sixers are 205-205 in their last 5 seasons, how many of the 205 wins did NOT have anything to do with Iverson? He has his best season of his career in '05-'06, and they lose 44 games. The problem is not The Answer. If he had a team around him that could play defense and consistently chip in every night, they would easily make the playoffs every year.

I tell you this - the second Iverson steps into another team's locker room, that team will have a championship in 3 years or less.

You must be high. He's a loser, he'll never win a championship because he's not a team player.

Pedro: Do you think people will vote for me?

Napoleon Dynamite: Heck yes! I'd vote for you.

Pedro: Like what are my skills?

Napoleon Dynamite: Well, you have a sweet bike. And you're really good at hooking up with chicks. Plus you're like the only guy at school who has a mustache.

Iverson is the only reason I am remotely interested in basketball in Philly. I think he still has one more amazing season in him...especially if he has something to prove.

Apparently, BK is having trouble moving him . I cannot see giving him away unless we get two legit starters and a first round draft choice. After all, he has at least two great seasons and some Cassell seasons left in him. He is not just a piece of cheese on a cheese steak!

Winning, when did that happen? Winning is what happened when Doc and Moses and Cheeks and Bobby Jones were playing! This team doesn't win, not like they should, is it AI's fault, no, no more than it is Webber's fault or Iggy's, it's just a bad mix, but the team needs to go in another direction.

nobody can play with Iverson he is so selfish how can you not see that. he barely ever passes the ball and misses more than 50 percent of his shots. King should get rid of him now dont wait until the season has already started. when he is gone you will see their better off down the line because Iguodala, Korver, Green and all the other young guys will produce more and have better careers. Iverson cant help anybody but himself and he needs to go.

didn't you mean as soon as AI appears in another locker room they'll have a blackhole on their squad? give me a break, AI a winner. c'mon now, lets not get crazy. the sixers have been under .500 during his ten years here.

but he does lead the league in forced shots, if that counts.

Its really nice you make a joke of this poll .Out of all the choices the one serious one is "the energy and excitement on the court" Do us all a favor and dont post if its going to be negative and disrespectful . Its just a wast of time.

I voted for the energy and excitement he brought to the court. Say what you will about AI, but he always gave his all, and you have to give him props for that.

That said, I don't think any of us will ever forget this:
