Could one of you people please forward this message to the Flyers board, for some reason I can't post there. I will create a new screen name, but it'll take 48 hrs until I can post. But I would really appreciate it if one of you could do this for me, thanks... The Leafs are now unbeaten in their last SIX (6) games in regulation. They have 8 points in their last 6 games. Phil Kessel impressive with an assist, and was a star of the game once again. The Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the NHL's hottest teams right now. Tomorrow night the Red Wings come to Toronto. The Leafs are looking for their 1st win on home ice this season. |

Olympic Hockey is cool when they get to the elimination round. Always watch out for the Swedes. On the NHL, I just heard on the radio that the Flyers won 4 in a row now and have been scoring goals. It might be time to check them out. Sixers are a mess. Basketball contracts are as bad as baseball contracts. If a player sucks, you're stuck with them. Eagles play the CowGirls this week. Romo hasn't thrown an INT in like 3 or 4 weeks. Time to end that trend. Important game for the Birds. |

I gave up on the NFL about seven years ago. The people who run it have it over-hyped IMO. I can't remember the last time I watched the Sixers. Hockey came to late for me to get interested in.

| It must be a Scottish bar, or an Ulster bar. My father played it alot when he was younger in Londonderry. I never really got into it. I know the Canadian and Scottish teams are power houses in the Olympics. |

| Yeah. The Flyers came to town in '67 when I was 16. They were not very popular, and were never on TV. You could only hear Gene Hart do the third period on WEEZ. | I have a friend that's father was an usher at the Spectrum when the Flyers first came. He tells a story about a young couple that asked him what the C and A meant on their uniform. The usher my friends father said he had no idea. The couple said I think C= Canadian and A= American. That's how clueless Philadelphians were about hockey in those days. |

| I thought I read that curling was invented in Scotland. I also was told that curling is Ireland's national sport. I don't know if that is true. | It was invented in Scotland. The Irish mainly the Irish living in Northern Ireland which is really the UK have adopted it as their national sport. Hurling which is a sport where people throw large posts for distance is also very popular in Ireland. |
