I always liked Pat and wish he could have somehow been retained by this team. If the National League had the Designated Hitter, Burrell would still be a Phillie.
After a year struggling to get used to the American League, I'm predicting that Pat will bounce back with a big year for The Rays in 2010.
Since the All-Star game next year will be played in an American League City in the home of the LA Angels, there will be a spot in the all-star lineup for a Designated Hitter. I wouldn't be surprised if Pat makes a complete comeback and snags that spot in the A.L stars lineup.Dennis from NJ |
