| It's long past time. Last night in the 9th when we were down by 4 and needed baserunners, Jimmy was swinging for the fences as always. He will never learn. Never. |

| I think the real question is whether the manager agrees with most of us that he isnt getting the job done. If he doesnt like the way Rollins approaches leading off, does he have the stones to sit Jimmy down and tell him how he must do it? |

I doubt it since it hasn't happened yet. Rollins would be much better batting 2nd IMO. This is the lineup I want next season. Figgins - switch
Rollins - switch
Utley - left
Howard - Left
Werth - Right
Vic - switch
Ibanez - left
Ruiz - Right Obviously we could switch it up but you get my point. Figgins has an OBP around .400. |

| I would be fine with that. I love Feliz' glove, and up until a few months ago I thought that it was enough to compensate for his weak bat, but he has become an automatic out. We need more offense out of that position. |

| Exactly. Manuel treats these players like babies. It should have been simple. "Jimmy, either your OBP goes up, or I am moving you down in the lineup." See how long it takes for him to 1) get a smaller bat, 2) take more pitches, and 3) just make contact instead of swinging for the fences. |

YES, YES, & YES!!! I love Jimmy but not only does he belong in the sixth spot but he also does better when he is lower in the rotation. |

Rollins will not change at age 31. We need to acquire a legit lead-off hitter and move Rollins down in the lineup. We need a guy who can hit 280 or better and walk 80 on more times, bunt, move runners, etc. Rollins is the antithesis of a leadoff hitter and leopards don't change their spots. |

| Yes, we need someone that wants to get on base, not swinging for the fence! I would like 200 hits from our leadoff man! With this lineup a guy like Ichiro would score 150 runs! Jimmy's act is getting old! I would like it if he kept his mouth shut and he just played the game! |

| No. It is not time for a new leadoff hitter. What a dumb question. What's wrong with Rollins now? Does every year, every at bat have to be perfect? Jimmy adds a lot to this team - more than hitting only. I can't believe someone would even pose this question about someone like Jimmy! |

| He'll be 31, he's not old. He still has at least 3-4 good years left. Figgins has a career OBP close to .400. |
