I know that Charlie isn't big on mixing up the lineup (especially in the playoffs), but I do think we need to make it harder on the Yankees lefty starters & also harder on the Yankees in how they handle their bullpen. Saw a similar idea in an article on espn.com. How about the following: Jimmy

I like having Vic hitting 9th to turn over the lineup - like another leadoff hitter. And I love having Raul DH & having Francisco in LF. | I heard somewhere today that Charlie says Raul hits better when he plays the field and he thinks the dh messes with Raul's offense. It might be possible he makes Ben the dh and keeps Raul in the field but who knows. |

| He did make one mistake but has made several nice plays. I prefer his arm over Ben's. I remember Pat the bat saying he hated the dh because it threw him off. I would prefer to see Raul have a shot at having a better offensive night then worry about if he is going to make an error. He has only had what 4 all year. |

he said he's not gonna change it. plus, victorino is not guaranteed to play. we'll find out tomorrow. he said he'd probably play francisco in center, if that's the case. i don't get that.. i'd move werth to center and francisco to right. but, either way.. who'd our DH? left-handed stairs vs. lefty pettitte? or... god forbid.. mountain man bruntlet? |

i hope so, but, it's concerning to think about his batting. he didn't look like he could really swing the bat last night.. after that. he didn't have to make a huge throw from center, but you have to figure it would affect that as well. |
