Hate to beat a dead horse....but I still have a couple of questions unanswered. First, I dont know about any others, but when I see that replay, I'm not convinced its 100% clear that ball would have cleared the fence. Did MLB umpires all of a sudden study geometric angles and draw a line of the ball's path to beyond the fence and conclude it would have cleared in the 20 seconds they reviewed it??? Second, arent objects in the field of play considered to be live or ground rule doubles if hit? OR, what if it was a fan's hand that hit the ball and landed on the field? What would the call be? Fan interferecne, double? Someone help me out....the strangest things seem to happen to Philly teams. NEW JERSEY: DON'T WORRY....WE HATE YOU TOO! |

| I think they determined before the game that any ball that hit the camera was a hr..regardless of where it hit...since that game, they moved the camera back..which they should have done before the series started... THIS IS FOR YOU PHILADELPHIA! |

Should have been a double & would have been a double if those idiots move the camera back like they should. Spilled milk at this point, thuogh. Let's just make it a moot point by winning games # 6 & 7! :) Go Phillies - Ya gotta believe!!! High Hopes for a Phillies World Series repeat! Chris Pronger is a Flyer! Emery & Laperriere are Flyers! Stanley Cup, here we come!

| The entire process is idiotic. You cannot definitively tell how far the camera is over the field or the ball's angle of decent unless the camera angle is perpendicular. Otherwise, its a complete guess. Therefore, there was not conclusive info to REVERSE the call. |

| hard to say whether we lose anyway because of the way momentum shifts affect the outcome in sports. that play was a real backbreaker. |

| In the NFL, a play that close doesn't get overturned. Apparently MLB's replay system is still in beta. |

I still don't believe that BS about them going around the stadium and determining that if the ball hit the camera it was a HR. I think MLB and Selig just came up with that mumbo jumbo to save face. Cause if it were the case then they would have told the managers/other people or they would have moved the camera back! The fact that they moved the camera since then, makes me even more positive that it's a load of BS. I mean now that EVERYBODY knows the rules, and there would be NO doubt if another ball hit the camera, then WHY DID THEY MOVE IT BACK!?!?! Selig is an idiot and every year he finds a new way to top himself... bored |

| I'm not convinced either.I thought that they would've just called it a ground rule double but to me Major League Baseball needed to decide that a long time ago. How the umpires could have the audacity to call that a home run on that big a stage really puzzles me. I don't know ANY evidence could've been conclusive enough there to overturn it. I guess its kind of ironic that they got instant replay to make the game more perfect and it turns out less so. |
