Dear Phillies, I wake up this morning to see a who's at fault poll. How cliche', how obvious, how short sighted! So I offer this instead. Dear Phillies, no matter what happens for the rest of the series, thank you so much for winning five straight post season series including a World Championship. Thank you for allowing me to share these times with old friends, new friends, my mother, my father, my wife, my sons, and the people in the city of my birth. Thank you for being only one of two National League teams who have made it five times to the World Series over the past three decades. Failing to win a championship is always and will always be a more frequent occurence than winning one, but it does not diminish the memories created along the way. We, the fans, will always want more, will always second guess, will always bleed a little with every loss and we will deify you if you win. You are not Gods, my dear Phillies, and despite the pain I now feel down 3 games to 1, overall, this has indeed been heaven. Thank you again dear Phillies. Oh ... and if you happen to win three straight to win it all again, kindly disregard this letter. A fan. |

| Great job.... I'm with you. I've had my issues with Cholly, but you can't take away the excitement of these past three seasons of playoff baseball. The exciting part is that we still have a chance this year and the next couple of years seem promising as well... |

| Great job. Win or lose we should not hang our heads. I'm proud to be a phillies fan! I still have faith that we our winning this series though. I know my boys doen in the locker room won't give up so neither will I. Lets go phils!!!!!!!!!!!! |
