Which (recent) player wins the award for most popular ex-Flyer? (Second to Jon Sim, of course). |

| Gotta be Upshall because doesn't he still hold the High score on Guitar Hero or was that Lupul? |

| Foppa? I bet you could count on one hand the number of people who aren't annoyed by the mention of his name. |

Just thought I'd clarify that. |

Well since you're just looking for sarcasm and not serious answers I won't bother to mention Mike York.

If the Flyers sign him after the olympics and he joins the club, he will get an instant standing ovation and would be a fan favorite immediately. Injuries have been tough for Forsberg, but the guy loves to play the game and thats all he wants to do. I compare it a lot to Brett Favre, except Favre wasn't an injury thing. Simply two icons of their respective sport who just love to play the game and never want to give it up. |

Who gives a damn what the koolaid drinking dopes in the arena would do if the team signed him? That means nothing. It doesn't translate into productivity. Besides, that would quickly go away once he got hurt. A few dopes might get excited for a brief second before they realize this guy is shot. |

That is what needs to be figured out, how healthy is he. Of course no one wants him back if he isn't going to play, what is the point? But if he can stay on the ice, even if he is banged up, he would still be hands down the best play maker on the Philadelphia Flyers roster. The big question is, is he healthy again? My guess is no, but I have seen stranger things. All will be told during the Olympics. And my point was not that I think they should or should not bring him back. My point was that your comment that you could count on one hand the amount of people who are not annoyed at the sound of his name, is incorrect. Many people would love to have Forsberg back on the Flyers for one last shot.

"That is what needs to be figured out, how healthy is he." I want to Muay Thai kick people like you in the head. Pardon me. I'm not mad at you. I don't even know you, so I apologize for the blunt remark. But the thickheadedness of "his" (I won't name him anymore) supporters is stupefying. The man hasn't been healthy for years. There's NOTHING to figure out. We already know the answer. |

Peter Zezel End of story. As the great warrior-poet Ice Cube once said: If the day does not require an AK......It is good. |

i'm one of those guys. regardless of his injuries, he was the most exciting flyer on the ice to watch in recent years. sure it was a pain in the #### to see him in and out of the lineup all of the time, but you can't fault the guy for being built like a polish tank. |

your right he has not been healthy in years. but if he comes out in the Olympics and plays all the games and puts up a bunch of points, you along with MANY others will quickly jump ship and be on board with bringing him back. The Olympics is the true test for his foot, all we can do is wait and see. |

| No more ifs, ands, or buts. He isn't going to magically stay healthy after like 4-5 injured years. |
