| He definitely is a positive. It's nice to see that the penalty kill is being done by penalty killers and they're not relying in the top 6 forwards all the time. |

| Betts is a great influence in the defensive zone. The 4th line is great with him centering. Hard to argue with the results so far. |

They absolutely are. What he does may fly under the radar to some, but not me. A pessimist is one who feels bad when he feels good for fear he'll feel worse when he feels better |

| I don't think you're exaggerating (the post, not the thread title). They are a different team because he wins face offs and takes the defensive and PK load off of Carter and Richards. He's an important player. |

My vote goes to Pronger just from the fact that he seems to have resurrected Carle's career. I mean come on we all figured that he would help the defence, but we know damn well no one here(including myself) expected him to turn Carle around so quickly, for christ sakes the dude is second in the whole friggin league in +/-.....who predicted that???? Pretty much everyone was screaming in the offseason to get rid of him, the only one that was more hated on the club than him was Jones...... |
