Ha ha...thanks bro, it's actually Monday, but close enough.

You going to the Canada vs Russia game in Barrie? I have tickets for the following game in Windsor. Should be a great exhibition. Think there will be four or five Spits in the various games.

Happy B-day, Jammer. Go out and get yourself a hot piece of tail to celebrate. Unless of course you're married then just stay at home and tie one on with a George Thorogood trifecta - bourbon, scotch and beer. Have a good one!

I'm hoping to go. If I have to go out of town, I gotta go. If not, should be good. I always catch these games on TV at worst.

Thanks Pimpster. I'm single and dead set against marriage....lol. The girlfriend qualifies as a hot piece of tail, but I wouldn't call her that out loud...lol.

C'mon, marriage has its ups and downs.

Downside: incessant nagging, lack of sex, talking during Flyers’ games, household chores to get her off your arse, no more hot tail hunting, etc.

Upside: .

I had to use the period there seeing that it’s one of your signature replies here on the board. I’m kidding. Marriage isn’t the death sentence that a lot of guys portray it to be. Having kids is awesome, too. I do have to issue you this warning…if you like peace and quiet the family life is not for you!

I already have 5 nephews so when they stop in to visit for a few hours, I figure that's my 'parenting time'. I can spoil the h*ll out of them and not have to do the actual 'work' ; )

A recent study revealed that it costs about $200,000 to raise a kid to age 17. Think of all the Flyers games you could afford. Like 4 games a year!

Dude, don’t remind me! My wife is due any day now with our second little girl. If I spend as much on my second as I did my first I’ll have to declare bankruptcy.

Four games a year! I almost wet my pants reading that. So true. You practically have to take out a home equity loan to bring a family of four out to watch the game. Heaven forbid you should get a couple of beers! I’d have to tap into my 401k. And people on this board wonder why the fans get so testy over this team.

At 44 years of age, I'm kinda set in my ways...translation...doing what I want to do when I want to do it...lol. I highly doubt I'll find somebody willing to schedule their life around Flyers, Eagles, Tigers and the UFC events, but ya never know. I could not even imagine somebody telling me "the Flyers?!?! again!?!".

There are some cool chicks out there who love hockey, but from my experience, most use hockey to lure you in and then drop the bomb on you..."I'd rather watch Desperate Housewives".

hahahah! I have much respect to everyone I know who is married and has a family, but at the age of 24 - when people I know (and don't know) are reminded that I'm single, they all say "you're smart, kid". There's gotta be a reason they're saying that, right?

I don't think I could ever tie the knot...I mean, you gotta have *some* control over your life, right? ; )

I have a slight variation of teams - Flyers, Eagles, Phillies, Penn State but for the most part, we're on the same page.

I just would like to interject here that marriage is the punishment for capital crimes in some countries.

If you're not married, stay that way.

To those that ARE married (like myself)...you poor bastards.

Thanks block, appreciate the kind words. After reading so much about your private life through your short stories and your general outlook on life....it's an honour to be considered your friend.
