| don't think it's wise for him to fight whether he wins or loses it's not worth getting hurt. that hurt the team because he was not on the ice for 5 min and the pens had a pp during some of that time. also, when malkin already out it really hurts the team and the pp |

| i'll give sidney the win on that but just barely...he threw more punches but nothing that inflicted damage. if you watch the video he cross checks him (zidlicky) hard in the back before the fight. i want to see crosby fight richards. |

Richards would be an @ss kicking. A more evenly match up would be against Briere, Gagne or Carter. Briere would win. Not sure about Carter or Gagne.

| who cares about fighting he's paid to set up goals or score them not to fight. fighting does nothing for the game, hence why are all goons benched for the playoffs? this is not the mma it's the nhl. |

keep dreaming...being as fighting has been "part of the game" since its inception i dont think you know what you're talking about. OT but do you know what the difference between the flyers and pens is? the flyers have 100 million that they earned the hard way...the pens won the powerball for 140 million. whatever success your team has has been given to them by the nhl not by hard work. |

| I agree with you that Crosby doesn't get paid to fight but to score goals. This isn't to say that there isn't a time and a place for him too. But Crosby was stupid to start a fight right at that moment. Malkin, Gonchar and Kennedy were out of the line up in a one goal game late in the second period and he starts a fight with Zlidicky. The only person on that team worth taking to the box with him in that situation is Backstrom. It was dumb and he hurt his team. |

| it's all fixed the whole league so that the pens will win ! terrible excuse . why watch at all if you know the outcome is the flyers aren't going to win cause the the league is helping the pens ? |

have to disagree with you here. Pens earned the SC through hard work--certainly outworked the Flyers throughout the series, and coming back from a 3-0 deficit in game 6. Won 34 of their last 45 games to win the Cup. You can moan about the high draft picks the Pens got, but the simple fact is that the Flyers have as much if not more talent than the Penguins. The Penguins
had a more physical team, with better goaltending and defense than the Flyers .Flyers had a better pp and pk.
Nothing has changed so far this year.
But the Pens have consistently outworked their opponents since the coaching change, and nothing is being handed to them by the nhl. |
