I, personally love the jerseys. There is a deeper meaning than you can think of to the choosing of the Lions game, though. The Eagles' very first home game in 1933 was against the team that eventually becomes the Detroit Lions. Someone did their homework. I love it. Louis J. Barletta, a National Hero. |

| Not to be a wet blanket here, but those unis are BUTT-UGLY. I recognize the historical significance and the desire to accurately depict the Frankford Yellow Jackets, but pee-yew! If my dog wore that jersey I'd shave his @ss and teach him to walk backwards. |

those throwbacks are garishly horrendous... I understand the whole "this was our first uniforms thing" but why not go with something that reminds folks of the colors associated with the Birds....and why not throwback to a the 48 jersey or the 60 jersey, when we won the championship? |

They are difficult to look at for very long and I think they will be the cause of many headaches. We have enough of those as it is. Just seeing the midnight green gets me amped. I can deal with the black jerseys once a season. Use those Rams-looking unis once in the preseason and then throw 'em all on a bonfire and be done with it. Yechhh! |
