glad you mentioned this...cause this morning I was wondering...will this strike hurt game attendance?

I know the game is sold out but are people more likely to stay home?

You may be ok with SEPTA...

"The transit strike could be over by Saturday night as Governor Ed Rendell announced negotiators from both sides have a tentative agreement...

A final announcement on the deal is expected Saturday afternoon with buses trolley and subways expected to be running by Saturday night."

They reached an agreement. I read it this morning so it shouldn't be a problem.

and then the agreement fell through. i was thinking of maybe taking a cab to chickie and petes and then walking from there. then after the game walking back to chickie and petes and catching a cab home from there. sound reasonable?

I will be walking more than six miles to the game.

It is a just observation that the people commonly intend the Public Good. This often applies to their very errors. But their good sense would despise the adulator who should pretend they always reason right about the means of promoting it.

if you get to C&Ps you can just take the shuttle

then again, if you take a cab to C&P, what's another half mile to get you to the stadium?

yeah, that is what i was thinking of doing. cabbing there and walking. then after the game going back there and then cabbing home from there (because i assume getting a cab from the stadium will be a nightmare correct?)

getting a cab from the stadium, yea

but taking it the extra 0.5 mile to the stadium so you don't have to walk? worth the 85 cents to me.

plus, I was saying, C&Ps has that shuttle you can take for free if you don't feel like walking.. maybe you want to have a beer or two first, then take the shuttle.

or just walk! hah, its a nice day, nothing wrong with that. but youre gonna need every ounce of energy to yell and scream your head off when the 'girls have the ball.

No, meant after the game. The plan is to walk back to c and ps and catch a cab from there. Since I would think it will be impossible to catch a cab from the stadium correct?
