I'm going to the game on Sunday. I've been to 3 other games before...two were 1 o'clock games, and one was a 4:00 start (vs Dallas - TO's first return to Philly).
For each of these games, I got down in the lot (Wachovia Center) between 6 and 8 to ensure I was there in plenty of time for a decent parking spot. Anyone who has been to these night games before (Sunday or Monday night) - what time should I get there for this game? 10 AM? Noon? 6 AM? lol. I don't have to be the first one down there, but I just want to be able to get a spot (you know, all of these people with their stinkin cones who save parking spaces for everyone who sits in their damn sections)... Thanks in advance - I'm from Central PA and I'm going to the Flyers game Sat night and staying at a hotel by the airport Sat/Sun night so I'll be about 10 minutes from the complex. |

ok, good...I mean I don't mind going there early, but on the same token, I don't want to have to get that *too* early and pass out at half time.
Thanks for the response! |

Well, there are some rule changes now. For night games, the lots don't open until 1:20pm... I dont think its because of Roger Badell. Its because of the bozo's who beat that poor guy to death at Mcfaddens. |

oh you bet, I'm actually from Palmyra but since no one knows where that is in PA (there's one in Jersey close to Philly, too)...I just say Hershey. I drive by Lebanon Valley all the time.
There's not 'too' much going on in the area, but I hit up some of those 'downtown' bars sometimes...the Batdorf! |

No problem man. Here is the thing though id at least hang around there earlier though because everyone is going to try to get a spot when they do open the lots. A part of me wonders if they will even enforce it. Most likely. I guess id say dont go down at 6am, but dont get yourself there at 1;30 ya know. |

| No sh*t Palmyra. I grew up there. Haven't been back in years. My dad moved out after I went to school. I am sure not much has changed. |

lol...well we have a Wal-mart now and finally got a liquor license at the Bowling Alley..."Sinkhole Saloon" due to all of the sinkholes in Palmyra...ironically, there have been two large sinkholes on 422 right in front of the bar ; ) |

| Yes the sink holes were a big joke when I lived there in the 80's and early 90's. |
