We could go to 6-2 and 3-0 in the division. Winning is the best deodorant.

It will happen.

"Murderers' Row" really isn't that big of a deal. I see a clean sweep of the NFC East again, a la 2004.

It's nice to have a big game, for first place, in Philly, versus the Cowgirls.

One of the main reason we are winning is the number of takeaways we get.

We average 3 takeaways a game. That's three extra possessions each game. And alot of those were in our opponent's portion of the field.

We average an INT every 17.6 throws.

If we keep that up, we ought to be in the mix in the end. Our team has wayyyy too much talent to be held down by any one thing.

Don't be afraid of Kolb. It's only progress.

In all fairness, 7 of their 21 turnovers came against Delhomme when he was having a miserable day.

No obvious set up there. But I bet if we don't win a SB, it will be one thing, and one thing only.

The Cowboys are going to play a hell of a game. I hope the Birds are ready for a team with a ton of payback on their minds.

The city of Dallas and that team is looking to this game with a statement mentality. AR better prepare his squad. No typical excuses later.

Treat it like a playoff game. The Cowboys are.

well it was the reason we didnt beat the pats in our last SB.

hard to overcome 3 turnovers by the QB especially in an evenly match game for the championship. But I'm sure you have an excuse for every INT he tossed.

Not trying to discredit what the Eagles have done because they do have a very solid defense. The only hiccup was the Saints' game. However, I feel that they would play much better against the Saints if they met again.

I hear you, its a legit point and its accurate, a bunch came from that game. Thats a valid comment IMO.

their coach (saints) has his finger on the pulse of the birds defense, I say we play them 10 times, they win 7. they just arent a good matchup for the birds. the Colts are another bad one for the birds, seems like they always have been as long as manning was there.
Brees is the same or similar, he's hard to sack, gets rid of the ball, beats blitzes, almost welcomes them. the birds live off the blitz, well die off it versus these guys.

Wow, I am shocked you blame it all on him, and count a time running out desperation pass as very meaningful.

Weak arse.

The two picks hurt, but it's what you should expect throwing 50 plus with no run game. You exepct that to yield no turnovers, that's not reality. That's stupidity to expect that. Nor was it the sole reason we lost the game. He threw some other passes that game as well. You don't really want to bring up the rest of the stats, do you?

taken from reviews of the game

When the offense bogged down or turned over the ball, Harrison and his mates forced four turnovers, including a goal-line interception by the veteran safety. The Patriots also had four sacks, making Donovan McNabb look ordinary, even skittish at times

or from this review

It's hard to criticize McNabb's exhibition in Philadelphia's 24-21 loss to New England. He played well enough to give Philly a chance to win its first Super Bowl. And he played bad enough to end the best season of his career with the same question that has dogged his six-year career: Is he accurate enough to win a championship?

The numbers show that McNabb completed 58 percent of his 51 passes Sunday, a percentage that is roughly square with his career mark. But it's a rate that's low for a 28-year-old who's played his entire career in a quarterback-friendly offense. McNabb gave Super Bowl XXXIX its best offensive plays. He also gave the game its worst.

or

Undoubtedly, analysts will praise Bruschi, one of the league's premier playmakers, for another smart play on a championship defense. But even more of a factor was that McNabb couldn't make a throw that every successful West Coast quarterback makes on the game's biggest stage. And McNabb knows it.

"I'm not going to make excuses," he said.

need I go on chris? but hey you're probably right (LOL)

I clearly said the two picks hurt.

It's that he's ALL the blame, that's where you go weak. Like your Giants game take.

I clicked one, it had nothign you posted, it did have this.

"I thought they created a new line of scrimmage by getting push into the Eagles' backfield when the Eagles had the ball. And the Patriots established a new line of scrimmage two yards behind the Eagles' defensive line when using a pounding running game with backs Corey Dillon and Kevin Faulk. This was done at the critical part of game when the Eagles actually had some momentum."

You didn't mention this, it was all one guy. See, they don't just cherry pick the one player stuff, like you do.

Thanks for the link, LOL.

Plus, let's not forget the Pats probably were Spygating back then too. In the second half it seemed like they knew every play we were going to run...or pass as the case may be.
