What will we teach?
A lesson in giving
Of news,stories,power and cash
The events
Of a future
Or an end of seasons
An end to baseball
Where 20 runs don't strike home.
In an eruption of red
I am full of energy yet consumed by barriers.
I am consumed by fire yet shouting
To an audience, performers all
They exit all
Whether New York's Carnegie
Or Philly's Academy
They share not for the the best one yet
They share not a clap
They share tricks and looks
But directly over their imagination
I look @ them and say to myself
Ouite frankly any face will do
Any face can be very distracting
In the back doors of theater.
When you performed
When I preformed
A thousand faces
Though quite frankly
Any face will do.
Violating the normality
They are scared to death
Of the typical outcast
Me
Ya'know...The strange influence of our best artists.
A bestseller to be sure
Moondust
Analysis
Rumbles
Yet
Without history
What will we teach?
